WATSEKA, ILLINOIS, January 21, 2008— CST/berger introduces the XP5 Self-Leveling 5-Beam Laser- ideal for interior plumb, level and square jobs.
The XP5 uses five individual diodes to project highly focused, “hi-powered” horizontal and vertical laser points on the same plane, creating precise 90° angles. Laser beams originating from independent diodes yield brighter, cleaner beams for greater with precision— accuracy up to ±3/16-inch at 100-feet. Simple one-button operation and a unique leveling system quickly settle the laser beams for fast and accurate set-up (±3-seconds).

In addition to quick and easy set up, the XP5 also offers mounting versatility when used with the universal magnetic platform-included. This platform allows the unit to attach to any metal surface, 5/8-11 or 1⁄4-20 tripod or wall.

The XP5 also features an out of level indicator that causes the laser beams to blink when the laser is out of its self-leveling range (±5°). Three rubber feet built into the housing on the base of the laser ensure stability, even on uneven surfaces. The auto shut-off feature and low power indicator guarantee you won’t run out of power in the middle of a job. An easy access battery compartment makes changing batteries fast. The laser also features an over-molded rubber housing sealed with gasket for dust and water protection.

The XP5 standard package includes three ‘AA” batteries, multi-mount, laser target, plummet trivet, strap, two carrying cases- a belt-loop soft case for while you work and a hard protective case for storage, and user’s manual.
